Job Title: Graphic Design and Production Coordinator

Job Purpose:

Print in London Ltd is a market leading multi-dimensional print-media group that is rapidly expanding in the recent years both in mainstream and ethnic market. The business has been mainly catering for community print-media demands that spans across entire UK and aiming to further expand across European regions. With the current y-o-y growth target of 100%, the company has recently secured several deals that eyes significant increase in market share as well need for additional Production capacity, Strong Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics and associated supports.

The Production Demand Coordinator is a key role within the business ambitions and is expected to coordinate between both production and market demand functions that will elicit the preferences and requirements of consumers, businesses and other specified target groups so that suppliers may meet these needs and ensure a win-win situation for both customers and suppliers.

 

Job description:

  • Perform various clerical functions relating to the marketing-demand-production
  • Strong knowledge on operational processes, i.e. prepare, format and compose text and graphics in a form suitable for use in a variety of print processes
  • Hands on experience on printers and various small offset printing presses and digital printing processes
  • Discusses customer requirements and advises them on the capabilities and limitations of the goods or services being sold
  • Stays abreast of advances in product/field and suggests possible improvements to product or service
  • Liaise with other departments and customer account managers for brand management at local, national and international levels according to maintain track account activities
  • Discusses possible changes that need to be made in terms of design, price, packaging, promotion etc. considering market research with appropriate departments

Job Dimensions:

This is a role that has been created with merged roles that will manage business functions that provide advice to existing and potential customers, and receive orders for specialist machinery, equipment, materials and other products or services that require technical knowledge.

This will be supervisory role and expected to manage three direct resources and two others via indirect dotted functions.

  • Managing diverse stakeholders across regions / geography
  • Successfully meeting the needs of distinct nature of the role with significant growth, footprint & improvement programs

Qualifications requirements:
Ideally the candidate must possess NVQs/ SVQs or equivalent grades. Training is typically in-house, supplemented by short courses or professional qualifications. The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership skills and should be able to manage multiple stakeholders and coordination of multiple disciplines.

Candidate will preferably have working experience on PlatoGraphic Design and Production CoordinatorEdit software, CTP Imposition(Apogee), Sheet-fed Offset Printing Machine Heidelberg KORD 64,  MOZP, QM46, PM52, SM102, Kodak QPR  & Heidelberg DI

Additionally, the candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Good working knowledge of printing floor operations, Capabilities of running machine, Demand fulfilment
  • Commercial mindset with experience in following the market trends
  • Ability to think strategically and see the big picture
  • Must be able to work independently and create bridges across functions
  • Ability to speak in Bangla, Urdu, Hindi, English fluently

Working Experience: At least 10 years in the relevant fields

Working Hour : 39 hours weekly pro-rata basis

Salary: £26000
